Prescriptions

Patients with long term medications will be issued repeat prescriptions at the discretion of their treating doctor. All patients receiving long term medications must be seen within three to six month intervals. Repeat prescriptions that fulfil these criteria will be issued within one working day after the request is received.

There is a standard charge for repeat prescriptions. The surgery charges extra for faxed or posted prescriptions. To order repeat prescriptions on line, go to the home page and click on health 365 if you have signed up or ring Cairnhill and leave a message with the nurses clearly stating your name and what prescriptions you require and where they should be sent to.
